Burravoe Primary School

We visited Burravoe Primary School in Yell, Shetland. The school has 11 pupils, who are all taught in one classroom by the head teacher and an assistant teacher.
Whilst we were there, we asked the children to think about schools' in the past, present and future. The pupils were split into three groups of mixed ages and drew their ideas on large sheets of paper.

Next we asked them to think about all the different learning methods, skills and
subjects that had been involved in a particular topic - Crofting Connections.

This really highlighted how the topic is interdisciplinary, connecting many different 'subjects'.
